Today’s Wall Street Journal VentureWire says, “Anyone who’s been putting their green into the green stuff that grows in ponds — i.e., algae — may be set to hit the jackpot. Dow Jones Newswires reports that Capitol Hill is currently considering legislation which would boost the industry by expanding the definition of biofuels under the Renewable Fuels Standard to include algae-based fuels, and may grant companies algal biofuel tax credits as well.”
